About Josh

I'm a software engineer with experience in cloud computing, automation, and CRM development. Proud PyCon 2025 attendee (I presented "Wait, what floor is it on?" by the elevator). Also a web designer/developer. I also write, and because the threat of other readers is a great motivator, I keep track of all my legible projects here.

But I also like the idea of a personal archive. And since the current database image has been building up since the summer of 2018, these writings have ebbed, flown, and just generally gone all over the place, so just keep an open mind and bear with me as I work on all my words.

Other interesting things about me: I like running (5ks, 15ks), spending time with my wife and our stupid pets, traveling with my wife and without our stupid pets, and reading. My usual genres are philosophy (philosophy of mind, theology), and literary fiction. David Bentley Hart, Dostoyevsky, Barbara Ehrenreich, David Sedaris -- stuff like that.
